Day 63: Sisyphus

Sisyphus


CrossFitters, does the photo below (or any other crossfit photo similar) remind you of Sisyphus? Don't Know who Sisyphus is? In Greek Mythology The gods had condemned Sisyphus to ceaselessly rolling a rock to the top of a mountain, where the stone would fall back of its own weight. They had thought with some reason that there is no more dreadful punishment than futile and hopeless labor. Read the CrossFit Journal Below for more on the subject. 




Strength/Skill
Minute 1: 8 Hand Stand Pushups
Minute 2: 6 Back Squats @ 275#
Minute 3: 2 Rope Climbs
*Continue this cycle until 18 minutes are completed. 
**Rest = Remaining time left of each minute

REST 5-10 Minutes

WOD
12 Minute AMRAP of: 
15 Box Jumps
12 Wallballs

Straight Into

9 Minute AMRAP of:
12 single arm kettle bell snatch
9 hand release push-ups





I think Rich Froning (video above) would have not won the 2012 CrossFit Games if either Josh Bridges (video below) or Mikko Salo had competed.
