Day 33: NLI Dynasty I + CF Games Season

NoX Training just got home from the NLI Dynasty Series, event 1. Courtney Crouch was the only athlete representing NoX Training this time around but he represented the box very well. Today was Courtney's debut CrossFit Competition and he had a taste of how competing in one feels. For those of you who have not competed in a CrossFit competition before you can no where near imagine how they feel. You can no where come close to imagining what one goes through in a competition both physically and mentally. Competing in a CrossFit Competition transcends anything you will do in life both secularly and nonsecularly. Good Work Court! Now that you got your feet wet I Cannot wait to see you dig deep over the next two months, grow as a CrossFit athlete, and crush event 2 of the Dynasty Series.

"Thx you to all of you who came out to support me during my first competition. Hearing you guys cheer me on made me push to the breaking point, to the fact that I wanted to cry because I didn't want to let you guys down.
'Think about someone you love, now think about that person being in danger. If you don't finish this workout that person is going to be GONE. That how determined you need to be that's how much YOU need to push your self. If you truly LOVE them you will FIGHT for them.' -Michael Hernandez (coach)
So I did and I saved there life. I was so happy I finished. So happy that I didn't let them down. "I wanted to Cry. I did cry. I didn't want them to see, but I know the felt it." I will continue to fight and push myself so that they know they can depend on me.

Again THANK YOU for the LOVE.

2013 Season
The 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games season is a three-stage test of fitness, comprised of the Open, Regionals, and the world championships, the CrossFit Games.
The season kicks off with the Open, the most inclusive competition in the world. The top athletes and teams in each region from the Open will move onto Regionals. The best athletes and teams at Regionals will compete at the CrossFit Games, the world’s premier test to find the Fittest on Earth™.

CrossFit Games - 2012 Rope Sled Event

Individual Men and Women

In order to identify the fittest, we invite everyone in the world to compete in the Open (Register Here). Every Wednesday, from March 6 to April 3, an Open workout is posted. Everyone then has until that Sunday to complete the workout. Athletes have the choice of competing at a participating CrossFit affiliate, or submit a videotape of their performance to the Games website. The Open will consist of five workouts over five weeks.
At the end of the five weeks, the Open’s top athletes in each region will move on to the the second stage of the competition — Regionals. Each of the 17 Regionals will be a three-day competition where individuals compete head to head with judges. At the end of the weekend, no more than three men and three women will advance to the final stage of the competition — the CrossFit Games..
